The first sweepstakes of its kind, Go For Gold awarded more the $40,000 in prizes from each Gold winner of Best of Las Vegas! 2016. That’s 227 prizes from buffets to staycations, LPs and concert tees, to tax advice. Communicating the enormity of the prizes was difficult in that print and radio advertising couldn’t cover all the prizes.
Using the old Columbia House commercials as a model, a 1 minute video was created to highlight the biggest prizes from sponsors while continuously scrolling all the other prizes on a ticker. This resulted in 1,000 more entries in the last week of the promo.
